八、阅读理解
On the morning of Apr.14th, 2010, a terrible earthquake hit Yushu, Qinghai Province. As a result, the beautiful county (县) turned into a terrible place where buildings fell down and people were seriously hurt. Huang Furong, a truck driver from Hong Kong, who was in Yushu with some orphans (孤儿) and teachers at that moment, he tried his best to save them. The orphans and teachers were safe, but he lost his life because of the hard falling stones in an aftershock. People were very sad for his death. In Wenchuan earthquake, Huang worked as a volunteer(志愿者). He was not very rich, but he did everything he could to help many people. He was just a common person, but he was happy to live a meaningful life. As a volunteer, he spent most of his time on voluntary (自愿的) work. Where there were people in need, he would give them a hand. He set a good example to everyone.
